as a sequal to yday's most disturbed sleep ever.. i present to u........ waisan's worst flu ever!!! from 37.4° at 9pm yday to 37.6° at 11pm before i slept. to 38.5° at 4am. to 39.2° at 6.30am. it was that bad. and i couldnt sleep the entire night coz i was feeling super hot and i was having this really really bad headache. for the first time, i felt so bad that i wanted to go see doc when e clinic's not even opened yet... n my mom tot i got dengue coz e fever didnt go down after taking panadol. after seeing doc... the doc asked me to eat panadols and didnt prescribe me any fever med... so im like finishing my house's supply of panadols now.. luckily the fever finally went down and now im feeling much better which explains why i can blog here now.

die flu bug dieeeee~!

u must be thinking what is waisan doing here at this hr... usually at this time, im still zzz-ing. yes that's right. let me go on to tell u about my most disturbed sleep ever. i woke up 4 times in total. 3am to pop the first panadol coz my nose is runny already.. 6.30am. i was awoken from my sleep by continuous non-stop sneezes. den i decided i need another panadol. 8am. woke up coz my nose was blocked. 10.15am. woken up by my bro to answer call from yizhi. who asked me to call some person by the name of jenny regarding a 2 weeks job. and so i called her. and she said she's in the middle of a meeting and will call me back shortly. by the way, it's been 1.5hrs and my phone havent ring since. her shortly = 1.5hrs++++. who knows how much longer i haf to wait. i was intending to go back to sleep once i settle all these coz i need to rest. BUT where is she????? ARGH.

i caught x-men, the last stand today!!! :) not bad a movie. but i still prefer no. 2... i shall not go into depth for the story lest u are going to catch it and i will spoil the suspense. the starting was a bit draggy.. but the effects were good as usual... alot of pple died this time round. and alot of the actors and actresses have new hairstyle and new colour. hahahaha.. there's abit of humour added as well. so go catch it if u can, esp if u are a x-men fan.

a particular fitness centre in singapore which i shall not name here is opening a new branch. hence they are looking for pple to give out flyers to raise awareness for the new branch. as i was too freee and unemployed, i thought to myself, "why not?". afterall, it is a one week job that is from 8 to 2pm daily.. HOWEVER.. things were not as simple as i thought them to be. today i received a call asking me to report by 7.45am.. so that i could change into their clothings... the first thing that came to my mind was that shld be their top with their logo on it.. den i prob can wear jeans to go with it.. but i was quite wrong. turns out that they are providing our full outfit which includes a red spag top with their logo on it and a miniskirt. ERRRR... ok. that aside. they are going to provide us with scooter skates so that we can skate arnd to give out flyers in our outfit. hurhurhurrr....

i wasnt even informed of such an arrangement!!! i feel cheated.

hence sharon and i have decided that we are going to call that particular fitness centre tml to inform them that we are not interested in taking up the job.. if we cant contact them. im going go Missing In Action on thurs. off my phone so im totally uncontactable. there's a hundred other ways to earn money.. i dun think this is the way i wanna earn the money.

HapPy 19tH BiRtHdAy tO WaIsaN! look nowhere further, that's me. :)

yep. im 19 already! thanks to those who remembered my bday. some of those that msged me are those i may have lost touch with.. so they took me by surprise when they remembered my bday.. so thanks alot guys! 19 yrs old. hmmmm. next yr.. i'll be twenty something. sounds super old. haha.. so i must enjoy my last yr starting with "1" in front. today there's no fanciful bday blasts. no wonderful surprises.. it was a very quiet and peaceful bday i would say. but i would say it's well spent. went out to meet sharon in the afternoon where she bought me a really nice big bag as bday present.. looks abit like adidas but it's not. but i really like it. Thanks sharon and nigel! :)

the programme after that was soccer watching again. last game of the season for the soccer team. it was a 3rd/4th playing match against jjc.. before i even settle down properly.. jj scored. and they scored again and again. so sa was down 3 to 0 in first half.. it was really a blow for the supporters.. but no. sa will not be defeated just like that.. so in the 2nd half.. sa played with all their might. and they managed to get 2 goals back.. the crowd was hopeful. but time outrun the players.. and the referee blew the final whistle.

final score. 3-2. sa is placed 4th in this interschool 'A' division tournament. i wouldnt say im totally disappointed that they lost. they tried their best in the 2nd half.. perhaps... perhaps.. some things are just not meant to be. no matter wad, i believe the crowd present at ccab was very proud of the soccer team. :)

dinner was at coronation plaza. how i miss that place man. brings back alot of nice memories of days in ny.. i wanted to eat at cosy corner.. but i tot all the lights were out and like not many pple.. i think they were closing already.. so ended up eating at ke ai ji. not bad lah. lemon chicken rice! :) all-time fave. haha. was reminiscing bout pri sch days as well.. was recalling how "influential" i was last time.. those were the days man.. in the twinkling of the eye, im 19 already!

so how did u find my bday? quiet and peaceful isnt it? Happy Birthday to me. :)

20th may is a happy day!

woke up in the morning and off i go to coro to meet my ny teammates to shop for stuff to bring for potluck for ny.. ended up buying two tubs of ice cream. didnt eat much at the potluck coz i dun have appetite.. we were like just catching up with one another.. with 6 outta 8 of us attending this potluck session.. 3 of us are going to be in the same fac (mass comm) for the next 4 yrs! how cool is that.. one of them is going to be a doctor. one is a lawyer-wannabe. one is on moe scholarship to uk! WOW. as for the other two. one is going to ntu business. and the last is an architect wannabe.

:) :) 6 outta 8 of us taken with mr wee, our coach..

i had to rush off from ny to meet my frens to shop for dinner stuff.. we were supposed to meet at 3.30pm. i reached at 4pm.. and guess wad. I WAS THE EARLIEST. (i hear applause) my frens are very punctual, i know.

anyways. after shopping, we headed back to yixue's house to prepare dinner. this is the outcome.

i forgot to take pics of the desserts, konnyaku jelly that we made! that was like the nicest among all our food. the most successful one. hahahaa.. our food dun look presentable. but at least it was edible. so cheers for our first try at cooking together!

laughed alot together.

classics like, "pikachu, i choose u!". apparently, some army guy shouted this before throwing grenade.. and he got confinement for it. WELL DONE. it was damn hilarious.

i love 6R'99. closest frens to heart. :)

went to watch soccer semis against vj yday with sharon. although sa lost to vj 2-0.. im still proud of the team..coz they really tried their best. and i tot that vj was obviously the better team.. besides, the match was like a more frenly one.. there was like no strong rivalry.. vj's no. 11 even helped one of the sa guys to stand up after accidentally tripping him down.. i tot that was a really nice gesture. after the match, all the guys shook hands.. it was like showing true sportsmanship. HOWEVER, two vj councillors had to wave their sch flags and ran in front of the sa crowd to show that they're victorious. to me, that action was totally UNNECCESARY. even though i was abit sad that the sa soccer team didnt make it to the finals.. i felt that vj soccer team deserved their victory coz they played well and they didnt play foul. but those two councillors, they ought to be apologetic for wad they have done for they have just made me lose e respect that i've always had for vj...

i am a proud saint. very proud indeed. it was really worth watching the rugby match today. (angelina, thanks for the company. i needed it. hah) for the first time in many many yrs, sa rugby team beat acjc and made it to the finals. and they did it! they won rj and has just been crowned champions in 2006! although i dun fully understand the game, like rules and all.. u could feel the saints spirit burning strong in the air.. we were trailing initially in the game... it seemed like rj was dominating the game at least for 3/4 of the game.. but suddenly sa got fired up. we scored 2 tries in a row and turned the table back on rj! it was a moment to remember man.. all the saints rushing down to the field to congratulate our new champions... i would have loved to busk in the victorious atmosphere for a longer time.. but angelina's bf is a bit upset at her for not meeting him on time..coz she kept me company. (UH. sorry to angelina's bf, whoever u are. ) last yr wasnt a good sporting yr for us.. so this yr.. quoting nigel lin "we're righting the wrongs for last yr."

cheers to saints hockey girls for making it into the finals as well!!

feverish yday. gastrists today. BLEAH. im not taking good care of myself.

friday was a saints badminton day.
woke up early in the morning at 7+ (havent done so in ages) to meet lings at novena mrt to attend double steps and muay thai lessons at her fitness club, phillip wain at United Square. Double steps class was horrid. apparently, most pple there are like pro.. and double steps = double difficulty. we had to step up and down the steps. move back and forth and in between the 2 steps. it was like HARD. and the music was like super fast.. i even got a bit dizzy from all the spinnings. hahaha.. lings and i sneaked out of the class after 40 mins. we couldnt take it anymore..

muay thai (thai kickboxing) was much much better.. movements were relatively easier to catch.. but strangely, i didnt sweat much at the lesson. i tot i did all the moves wrongly, which explains why i didnt sweat much. but to my amazement, i ached horribly the next day. the ache in the right leg was so bad that i had to walk with a limp for 2 days. -.-" well. but it was a good workout session... well. after two lessons. i realised i still enjoy sports the most. working out in gym, doing aerobics are good workouts, but no fun at all. i'll still pick badminton, anytime.

had subway for lunch. den headed over to scotts.. another branch of phillip wain, to bathe as lings' toiletries' all there.. i weighed myself for the first time in prob half a yr and e result was a shock to me.. coz im only 43kg! i actually lost 3kg from wad i can recalled myself being weighed the last time? this is no good. but i tot all the supper eating has made me fatter.. ok. i choose to believe that there's a problem with the weighing scale.

after bathing, it was shopping for mother's present.. bought my mom a bag from madam butterfly at taka... den it was meeting the badminton pple for dinner! had dinner at dome, the cafe.

im at www.ntu.edu.sg/admissions webpage now. i think i shld accept the offer now.. since it's like the course that i wanna pursue.. but i still have time to think... wad will i become in future if i take up comm studies.. that's a question ruyan posted to me when i was talking to her yday... she's right. i may be toooo optimistic bout comm studies. when i graduate, will the market become too saturated that i cant even get a job? if i accept nus offer of fass.. i will take up econs and go on to work in a bank in future if possible.. good money. but... will i like my job in the future? there's a lot of things i have weigh here.. let me just take some time to think it thru first. i wanna be sure of wad i wan to do in the future.

i want to be very sure.

Daisy Ai Wu Jian

it'a an atypical korean movie..i quite like the movie plot and the way the director, andrew lau, (the guy who filmed initial D) films the show.. but the ending.. i abit catch no ball.. hahaha.. dunno if the guy died or not. it was tooooo art-sy. lol. but this movie made tears welled up in my eyes when the girl died.. that part.. it was SOOOO sad. ok. i know im a lousy critic... but if u got the time.. maybe u can catch it one of these days..

the letter i've been waiting for is hereeeeeeeeee!! i got accepted into ntu school of comm and information. :) i received cher's sms saying that she got the letter of acceptance already.. den i immediately went down to open my mailbox. as i flipped thru the pile of letters, my heart skipped a beat.. i was so looking forward to see a letter addressed to myself.. and then i saw it.

"An exciting new undergraduate experience awaits you inside"

i qucickly tore open the letter and saw the words in bold "COMMUNICATION STUDIES" and i cant help it but punch my fist into the air! ahahaha. luckily no one arnd if not they might think im crazy or something. but im so happy that i got into this course. now im really looking forward to beginning of uni life! :)

anyway my cpu "exploded" the other day. when i on the switch, i saw spark coming out from behind the cpu with a loud "bang" sound. my cpu officially died-ed. now i have no com. :( u noe computer to an unemployed to very impt.. haha. now since my bro is out, im using his com. and there's a bee in his room... ER... nvm bout that.

oh yea im gonna be unemployed till sch reopens i guess. cos i have booked my driving test on the 29 june. and before that, i have 6 lessons that i cant cancel. and it's all in the afternoon! i guess nobody's willing to hire someone who needs to take leave once every week. haha.. so i guess i gotta keep myself occupied during this period of time.. maybe i shld start reading to get myself prepared for uni life..

i cant wait!
