saturday was spent setting up stores at CBD area for National Vertical Marathon. and the best thing that happened to us on that day was pretty fireworks that we saw! i think it was for Chingay. i attempted to take photos with my camera.. but well. it didnt turn out that nice. haha.   blur photos taken with my phone.. haha.  SEE YOU AT THE TOP. that's republic plaza for you. that's 60 storeys above ground. NVM requires participants to climb all the way up to the 60th storey! my goodness.. i'm so gonna be paralyzed if i had taken part. haha.. but den again, i was in sharon's subcom and my job was to tabulate results for over 1600 participants.. i see numbers until i blur. all the timings with hours, mins, seconds and hundreths of seconds. i think i might strike lottery lah. haha. yep.. that pretty much explained why my weekend was burnt coz i concussed soon after i reach home till monday morning. monday was spent cleaning my room in hall 7... n shopping for stuff to be shifted into hall.. at the moment, it's still rather empty. i'm gonna shift my clothes in on friday. get the bedsheets, pillow and hopefully a bolster! i hope to get a little help from daddy. i need a lift from him. heh. meanwhile, im gonna watch protege laterrrrrr..... it better live up to my expectations! :) |

cny break wasnt well spent. coz i was sick and still is now.. so i didnt really get to eat any new year goodies. i haven even ate any mandarin oranges since the start of cny! sigh. spent chu yi and chu er in malaysia.. boring. coz no computer. no tv. no free sms-es (each sms cost 50cents). nobody arnd my age group to chat with me! i hate it when im smacked right in the middle. not old enough to join the big girls' talk. not young enough to truly convince myself that i enjoy playing silly games with my little cousins. oh well. plus i was damn sick.. coughing. sneezing. n having a really bad blocked nose just killed all my cny spirit. the third day of cny was more well spent with friends! it was k box singing in the morning with xingsheng, jinglong, nigel, teckie and xiaomin. i couldnt really sing coz im suffering from sorethroat. with my nose blocked, i dun sound that nice. haha. but it was nice meeting up.. n there was gambling at yanyi's place which i lost bout err.. 5 bucks. den i got driven home! i feel damn blessed and loved. :) being sick has its advantages at times. but den again, if i have a choice, i wouldnt want to be sick.. coz i want to eat all my new goodiesss.. my pineapple tartsss... |

 quite a happy day although i wasn't feeling fantastic. post valentine's day. total defence day. finance budget day. not a good day. fever. diarrhoea. cramps in the hands. doc diagnosed that i was done with stomach flu. day spent sleeping and rotting away. |

at least 103 and 105 quizzes are over. at least the first draft of the nanyang chronicle article has been generated. at least 816 annotated bibliography is over. at least the digital divide 103 presentation is over. i must be thankful for these "at leasts". coz i survived them. im taking a well-deserved break tonite.. as least before i embarked on another journey of doing endless assignments. it's ironic to use "at least" here. there's speech for 106.. 20% of my grade! imagine.. that's like one-fifth of your grade! OMG. and there's 105 interview transciption to be handed in on the same day as speech. den there's the coding tutorial work to be done for 103.. but before all that, there's tuition tml morning, daddy's company dinner at night, cs foc carwash on sunday, conducting interview on sunday, tues foc subcom meeting. hais..i dun have time to shop for ger's present n his present. on the other hand, hall application was successful except that i didnt get hall 2. so i'll move into hall 7 soon! the rationale behind this is if i cant get my ideal hall, i will stay near cs. emotions fly high this week. ups and downs. we're all stressed out. i will survive!! |

today is day 2 of hell week. cs104 assignment due at 4pm. CLEARED. tml 103 quiz at 8.30am! chap 2,3,5 of principles of EBM, chap 3,4,5 of aquila's book + extra readings!!! not cleared. im quite dead. i think there's the interview questions due tml. OMG. thurs. free day? i wished! it's gonna be one whole day dedicated to studying 105..intro to communication research... YAYYYYY.. there's 816 annotated bibliography due that i haven finished. I'm so looking forward to the end of this week. coz there's valentine's day next week! poor geraldine n i will be two lonely souls hanging out together. haha. n there's chinese new year!! yummy yummy goodies.. n ang pows! n i just found out that i'll get free pineapple tarts. heh. den after cny, i'll only have 2 days of sch before recess week comes! i need a break from sch, soon! |

week 5 which is next week is hell week!! i got 2 quizzes for 103 and 105. 3 assignments, 103, 104 n 816! plus im writing the article for nanyang chronicle for surf and sweat which is due on thurs!! BLEAH. whoever said that being cs is damn slack?! -whines- |
