oh well. for those pple who dunno wad im talking about.. renunciation means giving up my rights as a citizenship. cos... my application for singapore citizenship has been approved! so.. say hello to your new singaporean friend after 1st of feb! haha. enough of these boring stuff.. now for some photo updates over the past few days. 24th dec 2007 christmas eve was spent satisfying my cravings of crabs at huaaa keeee... located in the pasir panjang food centre!  the prominent signboard... they own three stalls in a row! n their business is like damn good! almost 7 out of 10 pple who eat at the food centre were ordering food from them. haha.  our stingray... which was awfully good! no pictures of our black pepper crabs cos the black pepper sauce made it look damn unappetizing but tasted not bad. cos i never eat black pepper crabs before so i decided to try it! but i think their chilli crabs look better! so next time i'll prob go back n try their chilli crab! =)  the happy duo who are very satisfied with their food. but satisfaction came with a price. howie had a sorethroat after eating all these hot and spicy stuff.. n he's still sick now. went to the doc with him just now and the doc says his throat's inflamed.. hope he recovers soon! 25th dec 2007 merry christmas!  brownies making! they looked nice in the tray. after i tried to remove them from the tray, they broke into smaller pieces cos they were stuck to the tray. 27th dec 2007 met up with ocip pple for ktv singing session at the chevrons! it was damn cheap lah. we sang from about 8pm to 11pm, with two jugs of ginger ale and green tea and they only cost each of us $6! 9 of us were there so the total bill was only $54! omg, thats super cheap! haha.  the guys who were playing with table soccer after the ktv session...  the only 3 girls who turned up for the outing! ok back to my 3rd wave poster designs! |

Here's wishing all an advanced Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year! =) i went to watch national treasure - book of secrets at PS with howieee yesterday.. it was a pretty nice show! has nothing to do with the first movie so if u haven't watched the first, it's alright. shall not go into details in case i become a spoiler for those who want to watch it. heh.  christmas present from howieeee! ok, i chose it. haha. n he chose his own present from espirit too! well, actually we kinda paid for our own present. we all know it's the thought that matters. LOL. to celebrate christmas eve, im eating crabs laterrrrr! yummy yummy. im salivating already! =S this is a very random post. |

this is the most severe case of muscle aches by far. hai n the worse thing is i suffered all these aches in vain, cos i didnt manage to stand up on the board, ok maybe for like a split second n den i go tumbling down into the waters again. =( =( =( felt totally defeated by the sport. cos i could do wakeboarding but not cable ski!! BOOOOO. at that point of time, only one phrase can describe my feeling. 心有余而力不足。and it's 力气的‘力’. SIGH. after countless times of tries, i kinda gave up cos i really felt that even if i continue, it will be fruitless cos my arms are just so tired n they felt jellyish. im quite upset actually cos this is the first time i could not succeed in a sport! =( the ability to pick up sports quickly has always been one of the things i've been proud of. n yet im defeated by cable ski! RAHHHHHH!! sorry that i seem to whining about something so insignificant. but my ego burst yday. =( ok, ego issues aside. only 7 GLs turned up for the trip yday plus special appearance by kenneth fang. well 7 out of 32 isnt such a good turnout. but 2 more who joined the rest for dinner.. hopefully the rest will be more enthu n responsive for GLs bonding sessions! gotta go apply deep heat now. =( |

8th dec 2007 (saturday) aimless shopping at bugis with kairu. i guess it was more of a catching up session rather than shopping.. cos this whole sem, we've been so busy that we haven got the time to talk to each other properly. after dinner, we went to citylink tcc to sit down n just talk........n drank alot of water cos talk too much. hahaha. kairu's 'green apple twist'.  my 'peach me up'.  yummy milk drinks! =) and the awefully sinful dark devotion... oozing chocolate from chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream! i can still remember the last time i ate that was after a levels! although im not a big chocolate lover, but i must really say this dessert is damn good.  ratings out of 5 stars number of stars awarded for taste: **** number of stars awarded for sinfulness: *****  pear-fect melody. as the name suggests, it's is pear mousseline with pear bits. taste: *** sinfulness: ** if u dun like sweet stuff, this is the dessert to go for. according to the tcc menu, pears are fat free. so i assume that this is a relatively healthy dessert!  n that's the both of us! =) 9th dec 2007 (sunday) just a nua-ing day at home, watching tv all day long with my special someone. =)  taken while watching the UNBEATABLES! hahaha.. 10th dec 2007 (monday) met up with my clique from s73! it's been a long while.. so it was nice just eating dinner n catching up.  this french toast is to-die-for, from kim gary restaurant at vivo! taste: ***** sinfulness: ***** omg, it's just so tasty! there's peanut butter inside which made it so sweet and it melts in your mouth~ this is really damn good. better than the ones i've tried at hongkong cafe!  my main course. beef in mixed sauce and spaghetti. it tasted not bad. beef was really quite tender.  my honey lemon green tea. good for sorethroats. haha.  and this is my masterpiece of the restaurant's endorser! hahaaha..  5 of us who haven met up for almost a year! we're lacking angelina and adeline who couldnt make it. hope there's another meet up soon, with all 7 present! although it has been raining for the past 3 days, im not feeling moody and gloomy like the weather. in fact, im enjoying myself and loving this holidays alot. more of these happy times please! =) oh ya, my nathaniel tan's video is up on omy.sg already! check it out at http://yzone.omy.sg/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=167&Itemid=56 enjoy! =) |
