Lina's 21st birthday celebration  SU15 GLs.. im not miscellaneous. haha. private joke.  howie and his 16th comm.  me, kelley, lixian n silin. Then came Saints badminton outing to celebrate joel's belated birthday.  stanley, jac, eileen n jasman  yiz n me no group photo. cos we originally decided to go to minds cafe. den we changed our mind and decided to go to settlers at clarke quay instead. in the end, we lost our way at clarke quay cos we walked from raffles place to clarke quay. den we gave up n settled for waraku! haha. everyone was just so tired n hungry den we werent really in the mood for photos. after dinner, yiz has to rush back to sch... so that leaves us with. NO group photo. haha. but to end off this part of the post, here's stanley with a really hilarious pose.  JB trip suaku waisan went to jb city square for the first time on wednesday... well i've been to jb before, but it's usually to visit relatives and all. no shopping or walk walk or wad. actually my main purpose of going to jb was to get contact lens! it's 50Rm per box. that's like $10 cheaper than singapore. haha.  then we went to sing k at their version of kbox called the neway. pretty nice place i would say. we were given a huge room for just the both of us.. n 3 hours of singing plus 2 free drinks only cost 33RM for both of us. that comes up to about $8... haha. super worth the money!  random signboard at one of the shops in city square. i tot it was quite funny. haha. after kbox, we actually wanted to watch movie. but were abit tired. so we had dinner at secret recipe and decided to head back to singapore.  us at a busstop somewhere in the west, somewhere in singapore. haha. and now for the highlight of the post. this part of the post will be called.... WE ALL HAVE A PAST. first up. howard wen hao han. haha.  him when he was still in primary sch.. actually he was really cute when he was a kid... but things started to went wrong when he put on his spectacles. haha.  jc times. murderer out on the loose! ALERT!!  after army... he looked so much like my ex-colleague who's his cousin in here..  every man has an ah beng past. haha.  NOW....that's much better! =) of course, i wouldnt just embarrass my bf like that. i have my cok times too. hahah.  but i was really cute last time. haha.  and yes i have a murderess face too in primary sch.  oh my secondary sch was my most cok days.. hahaha. n yes, me in my pri sch specs! things all started to go wrong when i put on specs.  i began to look more like what i am now starting from jc... n this is my license photo when i was 19! not that long ago, isnt it..  and my current pink ic photo.. i will not show my blue ic photo... cos that photo makes me look 51 instead of 15 when i took it. hahaha.  i went thru a time machine, n i came back with short hair now. haha. so... whats the conclusion of this entry? we all have a past. |

so today is 22nd May 2008! Happy 21st birthday to me!!!! =) =) *edit* birthday 'surprise'! surprise is in inverted commas, cos i kinda peeped thru the eye hole when i heard some clicking noise outside my house. den i saw howard outside. BUT... i didnt see what he was doing until i opened my door. Tadaaaa...   my second birthday cake. haha. den we went out for dinner and movie. dinner was at creations cafe at shaw towers. lixian's recommendation. the place's a bit ulu.. but i think the food is not bad.. not that expensive too.  act cute. *im not supposed to post this photo but i cant resist the urge to do so. hahah.  his carbonara spaghetti..  my spciy seafood penne.. i found the pasta a bit hard. maybe a little undercooked. but the sauce is damn nice. if u love chilli crab like me, u shld try it out too. haha.  satisfied duo after a really filling dinner. off we go to watch indiana jones - the kingdom of crystal skulls. eh. comments bout the movie. it's not worth the money. cos the plot got a little draggy towards the centre. n it's a very steven spielberg movie especially the ending. haha. no surprises. indiana jones saves the day at the end of the day. i shall not be a spoiler here. interested for details, can msg me on msn. haha. the movie ended bout 11.30pm.. n all the shops at marina square were already closed. but guess what we chanced upon...  the pokemon show rehearsal! hahaha. the pikachu looks so pokeable. hah. it would have made lina's day. since it was her birthday too. hehe.  Happy early 21st birthday to me! and this was how the party went...  the catered food.  minimal decoration. but i guess the chalet already looks nice on its own.  shuang xi. i dunno who drew this... but they stuck it above the bed frame...  and howie and i played along and entertained my friends. haha. Cake Cutting...  my fantabulous belgium chocolate cake! some pple were actually hoping for a second serving. but unfortunately, i only haf enough to go around once. haha.  and this was totally posed. cos jonas didnt manage to capture me blowing out the candles. haha. but it actually turned out to look pretty natural afterall! haha  me and my family.. plus bro's gf, anqi. In chronological order.  6R'99. primary sch classmates! a pity this photo is a bit blur.  nybt. i chose this photo cos yuhui's in this too!  Team S73!  Saints badminton.  CS pple! take note of the ratio. 1 guy:5 girls. that's the ratio of the no. of guys to girls in CS! haha.  and becoz alot of my photos were made up mainly of sports club pple, i will post one which have everybody (almost) inside! heh.   weidian, janelle n weiliang who missed the cake cutting. but really thank them for making a trip down.  4/1 classmates yuling n qinyou! my last two guests for the night. haha. Then Team S73 came back for round 2. *ding ding* FIGHT. ok that was pure random.  they came back to play mahjong.. n drank hoe garden, while poor teckie who has to drive, drank root BEER. haha.  the morning after... pple who stayed over. we all looked kinda tired. haha. eh 6R shld have more chalets like this too... And here's all my presents!!  omg. i feel very very loved. thank you all my friends for splurging on me.. =) =) =)  birthday cards n wishes. =)  *a special mention kairu's letter from china to me! =) enclosed inside is a pair of really cute earrings. thanks kairu! AND FINALLY... to the one that made all these happen.  To dearest howard, Thank you for booking the chalet, the catering, the cake. Thank you for designing the birthday invite. Thank you for decorating the chalet with me. Thank you for your birthday presents.. which comprise of 1. a nintendo DS! like omg, i love it, im addicted to it now. haha. 2. paying for my haircut and dye. 3. paying for the chalet's booking. 4. part of the thailand trip. A million thanks to u!! =) without u, i think everything might not have went so smoothly. i really appreciate all of it and all the money u splurge on me. u're spoiling me. hehe. but dun stop spoiling me k. hah! yep, thanks for everything u've done. i love u! =) =) |
