 looks so... nice and clean rite. but don't be deceived by the photo! this is the other side of the village which faces the open sea. the other side... is filled with thrash.. n it kinda stinks when it's low tide, revealing mountains of rubbish being thrown into the sea. generally, the pple there are very nice and hospitable BUT... they have a super bad habit! they just dump their rubbish into the open sea, cos they are surrounded by it, which makes it very "convenient". er..... well, i'll touch on this point again later... basically.. the GLs' retreat at kukup comprised of food, sing k, mahjong, play cards, fishing, water head + bubble monster, drink beer, sleep (very little), and eat eat eat eat eat eat. i swear we were eating 50% of the time. lunch, tea break (!!!), bbq seafood dinner, famous nasi lemak supper on day 1. day 2: breakfast, seafood lunch at a local restaurant!  this is an example of a sumptuous meal! n they help u bbq food somemore lo, refillable too! tell me about customer service. haha. Back to the rubbish point... u see, the seafood we eat comes from the sea that surround us. if the rubbish goes in, the fish eats the rubbish, we eat the fish.... u can draw ur own connection. but i choose to believe that all bacteria die in the seafood after being cooked. (bio students, im referring to a particular one *winks* please do not come and tell me about what strands of bacteria, leading to hep A etc...) but just to let u guys know, im ok so far. no diarrhea, no fever! oh ya, and i tried fishing for the first time!  no catches though. but another group of pro-fishers caught a STARFISH!  when we take it out of the water, it will curl up.. prob an act of self-defense.. and most importantly, i survived the drinking games! i quite like this bunch of pple u noe.. maybe except the drinking part. im not against drinking. but i sincerely believe in drinking in moderation. haha. wah im so supportive of my sch's FYP. ok enough said.. just a nice group photo to sum up this entry. i knew i was at fault, but i wouldnt say it's entirely my fault. i would say that it's just pretty bad miscommunication on both sides. so much for me being a communications student. hurhur... but anyhows, i am just glad it's over... well almost over. all i need to do is to see her one last time. n... it's goodbye. not see u around. |

 artistic shot by adm-er kim jooo! alrights. apart from the sports pageant and all.. sports ball this year was emotional for many. since it also spells the last camp for the coming graduating batch. lots of pple were drunk. lots of pple cried. will i be like that next year? i don't know... anyway, i didnt sleep at all for the whole night. was playing i-have-never.. n catching up with su14 toons pple. so by the time i reached home after returning costumes, i was pretty shagged out. haha. but i would say, it's one of the sports ball i've enjoyed so far.. sportsclubb aside. week 6 of sch is here.. n week 7 spells H-E-L-L. with forensic science mid-term quiz on wednesday, psychology mid-term on thursday, and a 20% script due on friday. what a fantabulous way to end off half a semester. i ought to be getting started on the 20% script. BUT... just no motivation. with lots of drillings and bang-ings going on downstairs. it's super noisy to have lifts upgrades. argh. grandma's hospitalized.. mommy went to jb to visit her. so im lunch-less. was intending to get lunch. but i guess im too lazy to do so. i'll just make do with whatever i have at home. which equals to either instant noodles or instant porridge. opps. =X but not like outside food is any healthier. okies. enough said for a post. off to have lunch. |

about my previous entry.. thanks for those who asked, offered me a hug and left a tag. i know lots of u are concerned about me.. so just to say, im ok already. was just having a bad day. n u noe it's on such days, everything seems to go wrong. n all u want is to run away from it. indeed life's been very different ever since he left for shanghai. i must admit that im not as independent as i thought i would be n im also not loving every minute of the psuedo-singlehood. but here's when a cliche works.. absence does makes the heart grows fonder. i look forward to the day when we'll be in each other's arms again. by then, i will teary-eyed. but.. i know it'll be tears of joy. :) |
